Radio Contests
General Contest Rules

All participants agree to and are bound by the official rules, and WCRH Radio reserves the right to change and/or establish additional rules at any time.
CONTESTANTS
WCRH Radio contests are open to all listeners 18 years and older, or minors with parental approval. If the winner is a minor (under the age of 18), prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or legal guardian. Employees of Cedar Ridge Children’s Home & School, WCRH Radio and other radio stations are ineligible to win.
Each contestant must disclose his or her legal name, address, email, and telephone number. Any person found to have supplied false or misleading information may be disqualified from the contest and therefore forfeit the prize.

Unless a contest specifically waives this time limit, WCRH Radio contest winners are limited to one prize every 30 days with only one winner per family or household in any 30 day period. In the case of prizes with a retail value of over $600, winner will be ineligible to win another prize for six months following the date of the contest.
Each contestant agrees that WCRH Radio may use his/her voice, name, and likeliness for promotional purposes without additional compensation. All contestant entries become the property of WCRH. WCRH may retain any and all contest materials for any reason it deems crucial to the completion of the contest including publicity or advertising use.
ENTRY METHODS
On-Air Contests : Some contests are strictly on-air by designated caller. Calls for contestants are taken in order of receipt at (301) 582-2290.
Mail-In Entries : For contests where mail-in entries are accepted, send a postcard to: WCRH, P.O. Box 439, Williamsport, MD 21795.
Internet Entries : When applicable, l isteners may also register to win prizes via the WCRH website at www.wcrh.org. Winners of the various contests are chosen randomly from all eligible entries. WCRH is not responsible for entries not received due to the difficulty accessing the internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. All on-line entries must be filled out completely.
WCRH reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend a promotion, game or contest should a virus, bug, computer or other problem beyond the control of WCRH corrupt the administration, security or proper execution of any Internet promotion, game or contest, or the Internet portion of any promotion, game or contest. WCRH, in its sole discretion, may award prizes to entries received by alternate means. All Internet participants agree to be bound by these rules, and the Official General Rules appearing above.
LIABILITY
WCRH Radio is not responsible for items stolen, damaged, or lost in the mail. WCRH is not responsible for telephone malfunctions or other errors in connection with phone-in contests, nor any malfunctions or other errors in connection with Internet entries.
WCRH assumes no responsibility or liability for damages, loss or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the prize. WCRH is not responsible for replacing tickets in the event of show cancellations as a result of weather, promoter or performer. WCRH Radio will not be responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, or late mail.
All sales, prize and other taxes, gratuities and any other incidentals associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Each winner will be responsible for any taxes or fees that result from the receipt and/or use of their prize and may receive an IRS Form 1099-Misc.
WCRH, prize donors and sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone or other transmission failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; or incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by WCRH, users, by any equipment or programming utilized in promotions, games or contests, or by human error which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a participant’s ability to participate.
PRIZE ACCEPTANCE & DISTRIBUTION
Any contest winner that accepts a prize that is of $600.00 value or more will be required to sign a release prior to acceptance of said prize. If the prize includes travel provisions, whether or not such transportation is provided by WCRH, winners will be required to sign a liability release holding WCRH, parent company, Cedar Ridge Children’s Home & School, affiliated companies and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or content.
Some concert prizes may be in the form of a single ticket, not a pair of tickets. The winner will be notified at the time of winning if the prize is a single ticket.
Dates for concerts, flight departures/arrivals, weekend stays, etc. cannot be changed by the winner. If the winner is not able or chooses not to accept prize "as is," the winner forfeits his or her prize. WCRH Radio reserves the right to select another winner. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with travel to any venue or event for which a prize is awarded, unless otherwise specified.
If the winner is instructed to pick up his or her prize at the WCRH Radio Studios, the street address is: 12146 Cedar Ridge Rd., Williamsport, MD, 21795. Detailed directions can be found on the Directions page. In the case of a concert or event with a date sooner than thirty (30) days, tickets and any associated prizes unclaimed by 5 PM on the last weekday prior to the date of the concert or event will be forfeited. If the prize(s) are mailed by WCRH, the winner assumes all risk of loss, theft, late or miss-delivery. WCRH is not obligated to mail prizes to any winner.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and may not be substituted, except by WCRH, prize donors or sponsors for reasons of unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
THE REST OF THE FINE PRINT
Odds of winning are undeterminable and depend on varying telephone response rates, internet access and/or the volume of entities received. If any portion of the above rules is determined to be unenforceable due to local or state laws, all other portions of these official rules shall remain in effect.
No purchase or consideration is necessary to win.
Contests are void where prohibited or restricted by law. All Federal, State, Local laws and regulations shall apply.
Decisions by WCRH Radio regarding winners and all contest details are final and binding in all respects.
