Transitional Education Assistant, Full-Time/10 Month

The purpose of a Transitional Education Assistant is to monitor a Cedar Ridge student’s progress academically and behaviorally during the school year, providing information back and forth between the school and Cedar Ridge’s Transitional Education Supervisor/Specialist.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have ability to intervene in a crisis situation.
• Must be able to work intimately within a team concept, both in the public school and with the T.E. Supervisor who relates to Cedar Ridge residential staff.
• Must have sufficient academic abilities to support the student educationally.
• Must have excellent communication, organization and counseling skills to interact with the student and public school or Cedar Ridge residential staff.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
