The 19th Annual Cedar Ridge Championship Golf Classic held on Friday, June 1 at Greencastle Greens Golf Club in Greencastle, Pa., raised approximately $13.000 for Cedar Ridge Children’s Home & School, Inc. and our work with at-risk youth. In one of the largest tournaments of the four-state area, the golf classic drew in 204 individual golfers between the morning and afternoon rounds with some playing both rounds.
The tournament took an exciting turn when Michael Crist of Chambersburg, Pa. sank a 50-foot putt in the $10,000 Putting Contest held on the putting practice green following the morning round. Crist will receive $5,000 and Cedar Ridge will receive $5,000.

Congratulations to the tournament winners:
Fromm the morning round were the foursome of Gary Woodruff, Don Woodruff, Howard Sigler and Stanley Janor. In the afternoon round, the foursome of Robert Lytle, Andy Lytle, John Lytle and Scott Frey turned in the lowest score. In the Corporate Challenge Division, the foursome of David Elliott, Ned Lucas, Andrew Clemmer & Tracy Piper of Cumberland Valley Insurance took first place.
